Getting Ready for Your In-Home Grooming Visit

We know how important your pet’s comfort and safety are — and we want their grooming experience to be as gentle and stress-free as possible. Please take a moment to review these simple steps that will help us care for your furry family member with love and attention.

Choosing a Calm, Comfortable Space

When selecting where the grooming will happen, please keep these things in mind:

  • Bright, Soft Lighting
Good lighting helps us work safely and makes your pet feel at ease.

  • Flooring That’s Easy to Clean
Hard floors are best, but if carpet is the only option, having a vacuum handy helps us keep things tidy.

  • A Quiet, Low-Traffic Area
Loud noises or lots of people moving around can stress your pet and make them nervous. Choosing a peaceful spot helps keep them calm.

  • Best Spot for Bathing
For small pets, a sink is often perfect. Larger dogs do well in walk-in showers or tubs where they feel secure.

Helpful Prep Tips

To create the safest, most relaxed environment for your pet:

  • Please clear the tub or sink of any personal items before we arrive.

  • Avoid scheduling noisy or busy activities during grooming — your pet will appreciate the calm.

  • Parking space close to your home helps us arrive and settle in smoothly.

Just Before We Arrive

  • Offering your pet a chance to go to the bathroom before we start helps keep them comfortable.

  • Latch Key Appointments

If you prefer us to groom your pet while you’re away, we’re happy to offer Latch Key Services.

Simply provide a door code, hidden key location, or lockbox info beforehand — and rest assured, your pet will be in caring hands.

Note: For security, we do not hold personal keys. If your home uses fingerprint entry, please let us know in advance.

A Little Extra Care

  • Extra towels from home are always appreciated — they make your pet feel cozy.

  • Leaving a vacuum out helps us leave your space spotless with minimal fuss.

  • Appointments fill up quickly, and sticking to a regular grooming schedule prevents discomfort or matting. (You can always reschedule with 24+ hours’ notice.)

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your beloved pet. Your kindness and preparation mean the world — together, we’ll make this a safe, happy, and loving grooming experience.

With warmest wishes,
Megan
